The meeting was opened at 7PM by President Jim Turner.
Minutes from the previous meeting were read and accepted without changes. Board members in attendance were: Jim Turner – President, Gene Moore- Vice-President, Jim Morey – Treasurer, and Jason Spillers- Secretary.
Jim Morey (Treasurer) discussed the need to increase the annual assessment (dues). The increase is based upon expenditures exceeding income for both the Lake and Main Accounts. The increases are for Main (non-lake) account from $75.00 to $100.00 and for the Lake account from $200.00 to $300.00 annually. The increase will also insure that adequate reserves are maintained for unexpected expenses i.e. attorney fees, replacement/repair of well pump, etc. The reserve is equal to annual assessments for one year.
