Dear Homeowner,
The quarterly meeting of association members was called to order at 7:15 PM by President Jim Turner.
I. Minutes from the previous meeting were read and accepted without change,
II. OLD BUSINESS:
Proposals for electrical service for the north side of the Harrison Pointe Main Entrance
STATUS: Open
Installation of water meter and irrigation system
STATUS: Open- City Water Dept stated that meter will be installed week of 19 March 2006. Weather permitting.
III. NEW BUSINESS:
Association Accounting Summary: A complete summary of all transaction s to date was provided and spread sheets balance with checking account bank statements. All dues have been collected with the exception of 108 Lovorn Circle. Legal action has been taken to collect these past due monies.
A. A proposal was presented to have signs placed around the lake stating \"private lake\"
B. A proposal was presented to contract a landscaping company to maintain the main entrance
C. A proposal was presented to send letter to mayor’s office regarding cars speeding through neighborhood
D. A proposal was presented to acquire pH and oxygenation levels of lake. A sample of the water will be taken to Georgia Department of Natural Resources
IV.REVIEW OF COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES
Covenant Enforcement – 29 letters issued to properties in violation of the covenants.Eighty-six percent of the violations have been resolved.
Four lots remain in violation:
Two lots have been in violation over 90 days and owe the association money. The association is in the process of seeking legal judgment against these lots.
Final Warning letter will be sent to the remaining two lots. Failure to comply will result in legal action.
One of the covenants continually being broken is trash can placement. As stated in our covenants: \"Every trash can shall be placed in a place not visible from the street. Trash cans must be screened or stored in place not visible from the street, such as the garage, behind the house or fenced backyard.\"
Maintained landscaping at the front entrances and posted signs \"Covenant Community\" on the front entrance columns.
