PROPOSAL: Letters to homeowner in regards to pets
ACTION: Feb. 11, 2009, pet control was discussed again. This is an area that continues to be a concern. Dog owners are required to clean up dog messes as they walk. We need to give reminders to cat owners as well for cats running loose. We are also having a problem with excessive dog barking at night. Jim Turner will forward previous letters used for this concern to Mark. Mark will send out letters to homeowners in regards to this. (OPEN)
ACTION: March 11, 2009, no new action was discussed on this issue. The task will now fall to Jane Krumwiede. (OPEN)
ACTION: May 5, 2009, No letters have been sent out to homeowners. Jane will talk with the homeowner that has been brought to her attention. If this does not solve the problem, then further action can be taken. (OPEN)
ACTION: May 13, 2009, Jane has spoken with one homeowner in regards to their pets; she has one other homeowner to address. She would like to talk to homeowners first, and then proceed with a letter if the problem continues. (OPEN)
ACTION: Nov. 18, 2009, Katie has put together a letter for all homeowners. The letter explains the covenants. Katie will email and mail to homeowners with no email address on file.

PROPOSAL: Adding residents of Plantation at Tara Estates
ACTION: Aug 1, 2009, we have received two requests from homeowners on Lovorn Circle that would like to part of Harrison Pointe. They understood when they bought that they were part of our subdivision. Unfortunately, this was not correct and they are actually part of Plantation at Tara Estates. Jim Morey has spoken with one homeowner and Jane has spoken with another. Both are interested in being part of our subdivision. Jim has volunteered to contact the homeowners for covenants and contact the lawyer for additional information. This will transfer over to the new board to pursue as we are at the end of our term. PROPOSAL: Audit
ACTION: August 1, 2009, Gus and Jim will need to conduct an audit of the books prior to the change of treasurer. They will also need to visit the bank and change over the account signing. (OPEN)
ACTION: Michelle will type and send a letter to the auditors that were used last time to inquire on the cost of the audit. (OPEN)
ACTION: Nov. 18, 2009, Michelle mailed letter to the Auditors and was awaiting a response. Jim asked for the mailing date so that he could follow up. Michelle will provide the date. (OPEN)

We discussed the mailbox ribbons for the neighborhood. Jane will check on the cost of getting premade ribbons. This should be quicker and less expensive than making the ribbons this year.
Jane would like to step down from the Vice President position. Brian Blazicko is interested in holding the position. Brian was appointed to the position of Vice President and Jane will head up the Socials committee with Linita being on the committee with her.
We need to check with Jodi on the front landscaping and also to get Christmas decorations hung. Katie will give her a call or email to follow-up with her.
Jim stated that the credit cards are each individual and will need to be changed with adding the New VP. He will check with the bank and see if he can consolidate to one account for the group as opposed to individual accts.
PROPOSAL: Pet Stations
ACTION: Nov. 18, 2009 Katie proposed installing pet stations with bags only to help with the poop situation in the sub division. This would be bags that people could use to clean up after their animals when walking. She will research for cost and additional information. (OPEN)

Spoke on using Facebook or a blog for residents to post information. We don’t feel that this is a good idea at this time. We will continue to update our residents with emails.
Michelle and Jim are continuing the work on the email/addresses. It is coming along very well. Very few that we don’t have emails for. Michelle will continue to update.
PROPOSAL: Neighborhood Watch Program
ACTION: Nov. 18, 2009, We need to establish the neighborhood watch program. Wayne Jones is our Safety & Security Chairperson. We would like to have quarterly presentations and get new captains set up for our neighborhood. Katie will follow-up with Wayne on the program and presentations. (OPEN)
Residents want the website on all correspondence. This will make it very easy for them to click over to the site and see any updates or news that we have posted. Michelle will ensure that each email has this information on it.
Members at the general membership committee mentioned that at one time this subdivision was going to be gated. They asked if this was still a possibility. Katie will check with Planning & Zoning office for any additional information for us to consider.
Residents would like to have block parties. We will look at this as the year progresses.
Jim received the cancellation of Lien on 782 Lake Joy Road. Michelle to make a copy for the files and hand deliver the original to the homeowner.
